Summer has flown by.
This summer we have been so overwhelmed with the amazing people God has placed around us. We are truly blessed and grateful.
Canada was a great time to connect with family and friends, as well as the opportunity to meet many new people. Although it isn’t always the most restful, it’s a time of refuelling and refreshing by gathering together with people that we love.
I had the pleasure of spending some time with my mom. After her stroke I needed to see her face-to-face. She’s a walking miracle. There are no signs of the stroke. We were able to spend some quality time soaking up the sun and just hanging out. Love you mom!
Looks like we’ll be coming home next June as Kris’ beautiful daughter Jordyn got engaged to Ben. They will be celebrating their marriage next June 27th. We are excited for this next phase of their lives. Ben is a great guy and we know that God has amazing things in store for them.
And we have a new website! We were blessed by the beautiful and talented Heather Murphy who helped us to create and design our own website. It’s still a work in progress, but it moves us into the 21st century and will help us to better communicate with you all. You can check it out at www.victorymaesai.com and let us know what you think :) If something doesn’t work, please send me a message so we can work on it. Sometimes when you look at something too much, you miss the errors :(
And a summer of firsts…
We had the privilege of meeting the Chaplin of the 15 Wing Moose Jaw Base. He invited us for a tour to see the planes and the Snowbirds (Canada’s Military acrobatics and flight demonstration team). Very few people get this opportunity and we were thrilled to be toured around the base, shown the training facilities, inside the planes and even flew a flight simulator (which Kris crashed). It was a highlight of our summer.
Hitting the lake this summer with some friends proved to be Ephraim’s most ‘favourite’ time ever. He got the opportunity to go tubing with his friends and LOVED it. It was a great way to enjoy the Canadian heat, and try something new. It’s now on his list of things we do every summer.
Chuck wagon races… enough said :). That was a first for us. We stopped in to visit my brother and they took us to the chuck wagon races. Crazy and fun! Next year we’ll get Kris the ‘gear’ to fit in and hopefully we’ll understand better what’s happening.
As usual, we were introduced to new and wonderful people. As we shared our vision and our hearts the response from people was excellent. We came back to Thailand ready to move to the next level in our ministry.
Next steps….
Please pray as we grow and move forward. Many of you are aware that we are looking to move into a building, we will be meeting with the owner at the end of the month. Please pray for wisdom and favour. We are at capacity in our home and we need a bigger space to grow. We are open to whatever God has for us. Thanks for praying.
We need your help… If you’d like to support us with a one-time donation or monthly support, you can give through our website www.victorymaesai.com or you can message me personally at tabithapagan@gmail.com…
We love you
One of the things I feel like we sacrifice on living in Thailand, is our family. We meet so many great people. Often those people become family, but they never replace our immediate family.
