November 2019: Partnership and a trip to India
“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” - Helen Keller
I (Tab) have spent the last 2 weeks teaching in India. The vision that this team has for this nation is nothing short of supernatural. They can see the possibility of change in each home in this nation. It’s a big vision; raising a victor from every Indian family. Although they are a phenomenal team and work well together, they realize they are effective because of who they are partnered with around the world.
People love to be part of a global vision. They love to be connected to something greater. We have been blessed to have many people partner with us through financial support and prayer. The truth is, we couldn’t do it alone. We weren’t designed to do this alone. God is a missionary God. He has a passion for the nations, so do we.
I’ve been thinking about partnership lately. It’s always humbling to ask for help, to put our needs out there. With missions, this is something we need to do. If I don’t tell you our needs, you’ll never know them. So we continue to do this.
When we come home, people will ask us how they can help. We are so appreciative of people lending cars, cooking for us and helping us out. We feel so loved. Missions is a weird world sometimes. Your home country isn’t really your home anymore. The place you’ve chosen to give your life to becomes more like home, but you are a guest in that country. Things can change in an instant. You can’t rely on yourself to make money the same way you could in your country. So you rely on people being obedient to God. We have been truly blessed by these friends.
Although we’ve been on the mission field for 12 years, it’s not always easy. God continues to supply; He always has. This year though, we lost a few big partners at the same time. It was a hard hit. We haven’t gotten back to where we need to be.
So I am telling you now; we need new partners. People who will commit to support us monthly or through a one-time gift, pray for us and support us. If you’ve ever considered this, now is the time. If you go to our website: www.victorymaesai.com you can click on the donate tab in the top right corner. Please be sure to make a note that it’s for Kris and Tabitha Pagan. You can make it monthly by clicking ‘recurring payment’ as an option.
If you have another missionary on your heart, please start partnering with them. They would be truly blessed and thankful. You could also give a donation to help here in India. It would truly bring change to a nation that is needing it greatly.
We love you guys. We are so thankful to have you as part of our lives. Please keep us in your prayers and let us know how we can pray for you. We are still looking for a building, and are needing it to move forward. God is on the move in Mae Sai, and we can’t wait to see what unfolds in the New Year ahead.
Be blessed.
Much love,
Kris, Tab and Ephraim
